Alchemy™ Media Processor Family - The RMI Alchemy™ Media Processor Family consists of
Media and Navigation SoCs enabling designers to support multiple price-performance points
and application requirements. The processor of choice for full-featured PMP, mPMP,
Navigation, thin client and Mobile TV devices, Alchemy Processors are high-performance, low power
processors capable of delivering a rich multi-media experience to end users. The RMI Alchemy Au1200 family of media processors includes the Au1200™, the Au1210™ and the Au1250™ products.
Alchemy™ Communication Processor Family - The RMI Alchemy Au1500®
and Au1550™
network processors are versatile high-performance, low-power, high integration SuperSoC
devices designed for wired and wireless applications. These processors accelerate networking and remote access applications such as gateways and network addressable storage (NAS) units, wireless access points and Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) environments.
The Alchemy™ Au1000™ and Au1100® processors provide a high-performance, low-power, high-integration System-on-a-Chip (SoC). The Au1000 processor targets the Internet Edge device market. The Au1100 processor, a follow-on to the Alchemy Au1000 processor, includes an LCD controller and further reduction in power, and is designed for use in mobile information appliances. Both processors are complete SoC devices based on the MIPS32® instruction set. Designed for maximum performance at low power, the processors run at up to 500MHz.
